Mousy DeVilla
ARTIST BIO
I create artwork under the name Mousy DeVilla.I am a self taught artist who was born and raised in Seattle's White Center area.
For as long as I could hold a paintbrush, I have used art as an outlet to produce both 2d and 3d visuals that I could not put into words. This form of therapy is what I enjoy doing the most. I love the freedom of artistic expression, but mostly being able to have total control of whatever goes onto my canvases.
A lot of my inspirations come from current troubling issues in the media and in the U.S, social injustices and my colorful Mexican-American background. I pour out my soul into my art and I hope my viewers can emerge themselves into and take something out of it all.

I was selected and added onto the Ethnic Artist Roster for the City of Seattle:
